So no dots yet! And a tater update.

Ok well so far we still have no chicken pox here, so Im thinking we may have gotten lucky! :) Personally, I dont really care if the kids get them, its better to get them as a kid than as an adult anyways, well easier I guess...but right now is just horrible timing!! And Jodi...yeah it doesnt really make any sense why they even vaccinate against it if its not going to work! I guess if they do get them after they have been vaccinated, they should only get a light case of them...so who knows!
And Dena, you said that they didnt do your kids CP and MMR until 2? For some reason the Ped's here are doing those both at the 1 yr appointment. When we went in for Rowans 1 yr appt, after we switched to a Ped that gave a crap, he said she was behind on like 6 shots...so we just have been doing like 2 at a time to catch up. She just went two weeks ago and is now all the way updated except for the MMR shot, which I told him I would do once she starts school. But Im holding off for now. I wish I could have done that with Taysen, who knows, maybe it would have changed his life...but I didnt really know anything about that then!

Anywho...on to Tater...he had his IEP meeting at his preschool yesterday. It went really well. He met his teacher and he likes her, he was mad at us when we left because he wanted to stay. LOL. Anyhow, he starts preschool monday! I was a tiny bit disappointed because his Early Intervention class was cancelled yesterday morning because of weather, so he didnt even get to say goodbye! Im going to stop there on the 20th after his dentist appointment so he can say bye to them and get the last art projects he did. I was sort of hoping that they would let him go to EI this coming week, and then start him on the 19th since his class was cancelled. Oh well. LOL. One minute Im complaining about the drive to EI and now Im complaining that he didnt get to say goodbye. Im a complainer I guess. Haha...

Anyhow, I guess thats it for now. Im sure I will be keeping you all busy with updates as soon as he starts. Im going to have all monday and wednesday to blog! Haha...no im kidding. Im sure I will find some fun stuff to do with just me and Rowan to give her some more mommy time since Taters schedule gets quite hectic...but I will definitely have more time to blog. Its kind of sad!! I dont know what Im going to do without him all day twice a week!! It seems so long! But he loves his therapies and EI, so Im sure he will love this just as well. :)

Ok Im shutting up now! :D

I felt the same way when Emily started pre-school on Tuesday and was gone all day. It was so weird just one having kid but it was nice, and I figure it has to get better when I stop missing Emily like crazy!

The schedule for vax in aus is MMR at 12 months, CP at 18 months.
Dena I'd love any info you might have on why it is better to wait until they are two. I am so torn between giving the vax now because I'm quite concerned that Arlia will catch measles, but I'm also worried that she's too young. So if you have any info I'd love to read it!
